As one of only two entrepreneurs recognized from Saskatchewan, Brett joins a national group of visionary leaders who are shaping the future of Canadian business.

The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® Awards celebrate individuals who are redefining what it means to lead through innovation, resilience, and purpose. Over the past two decades, Brett has grown North Fringe into a trusted, national partner serving Canada’s mining, municipal, and industrial sectors.

Finalists were selected by an independent judging panel for their entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, impact, and purpose. Regional winners will be announced in October, with national honours to follow in November. Nipawin, SK (May 14^th, 2025) –  North Fringe Industrial Technologies has been announced as a finalist for the 2025 Safe Employer Award presented by WorkSafe Saskatchewan, a province-wide honour recognizing employers that exemplify a strong commitment to the health, safety and well-being of their workers, contractors and customers.

WorkSafe Saskatchewan, a collaboration between the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board and the Ministry of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety, evaluates finalists based on safety culture, leadership engagement, and outcomes tied to training, prevention, and return-to-work programs.
