Pump Cavitation

Pump cavitation is very damaging. Cavitation is the formation and collapse of vapor bubbles within a piece of process equipment such as valves, instruments, pumps or pipe. This is caused by the localized boiling of a media due to its’ pressure falling below its’ own vapor pressure.
